Hey man thats cool, I used to use Virtual DJ as well. It's much much easier to use once you have a controller and a proper two channel sound card for headphone use. What version have you got?
Also what is your budget, i'd need to know as there is alot of contollers and sound cards out there?

If you wanna stick below £100 then thats probably the best choice. The other option is the Hercules DJ Control but I think the Ion is better. The Ions based on the Numark Total Control which is pretty good it's just a budget version. I'd get a USB sound card too for headphone monitoring. Somthing like this if you want to keep it cheap. http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR195400

Re: Stater stuff for dj
Hi i have looked a little more into this and have come across a little compamy called dj-tech, they look good in my opinion heres the stuff ive been looking at: http://www.djtechpro.com/product_detail ... uct_id=242 Which is about £110 from them i think http://www.djtechpro.com/product_detail ... uct_id=246 This is more expencive but better at £180.39 and then there is this :http://www.djtechpro.com/product_detail.asp?category_id=63&sub_id=105&product_id=269 Which is the one that i want but it is expensive at £270.70 but it has built in sound stuff.

Ah yeah the i-Mix Reload MKI and II are well worth a look. Ideally the MKII with the sound card would be best. Very similar to the Vestax VCI 100 / 300 and the M-Audio Torq Xponnent.
