Re: gah! which one to choose..
Ds2s are a bit snappy but would be ok if it was only temp. Getting a complete isn't a bad idea though. Unless you find something decent second hand this... http://www.southerndownhill.com/reviews/bikes/diamondback-bandito-review.html...with the dorados and a disc would be sweet on the budget. Could always upgrade it later how does this compare with the ds2 build?

Re: gah! which one to choose..
tbh i reckon the azonic will be perfect.. http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/i ... 004.0.html100 frame 130 forks seeing as they look completely mint 150ish for the wheels already broke even pretty much.. plus with all that and the 25 a week ill be earning i should be able to upgrade pretty sharpish.. looks like its gunna happen then

Ah that's a evo2, a much better frame than the ds2. I don't really like alu hardtails myself but my mate had one and they ride real nice. Those forks are pretty damn good too, but the doradoes will be even better. I'd go for it unless this... is still available? The Revell is nicer.

Re: gah! which one to choose..
well i got the azonic, its a bit worse off than i thought, shifters snapped the down shift and gear display, seatposts ovalised from the dmr chaincage, drivetrain creaks from somewhere and i cant find it for the love of god and its getting on my nerves, forks and headset feel mint though.. thinking about splitting it and selling it? really cba with riding at the mo, and when i look at it, it dont wanna make me ride like the tranny did

Re: gah! which one to choose..
hmm... shame, probably should have got one of the other choices. Did you ever get those forks? Get this man it would be way more fun to ride, I reckon you'd be good a dh. http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,127734.0.htmlHopefully you can save for it, it's a steal at that price.
