You could get something pretty quality for that, even a dh/fr bike if you were still interested?

Get a full sus Eric theres no point in getting a hardtail you simply will just get bored of it and to be honest you don't exactly do alot except ride about on it. Least if you get a full sus you can ride about on it...down a hill....which would suit you far better than what your current bike taste caters.

Come on eric use ur enginering skills ... mass weight + dh bike + hill + gravity = speed ! lol You could be uber lazy and just coast down if you wanted to p.s = i have no understanding of science etc, i just made the equation up !

Re: gah! which one to choose..
Eric, this isn't a dig its just some advice, you say you would get something shit...let take some 'shit' and put into context. Junior T's best year 2002/2003 had issues with spiking, at HIGH speeds as a beginner these are perfect forks: - Theyre cheap - They work - Simple internals - Adjustable(LOL) But as for the spiking they will only begin to spike when you become good enough to hit the speeds that only a experienced rider does. A beginer won't reach those speeds so its perfect for them. Husselfelt cranks: Aren't shit they're just cheap. Especially as you can now pick up the Howitzer versions for just over

Re: gah! which one to choose..
So why spend that much on a hardtail which isn't going to be used to its full potential?
