how come 40's werent in the debate? do they compare to rs and marzocchi's or are they just too expensive?

Becuase i havent used 40s. I used to run marzocchis and dave & co asked me how they compared to my new boxxers. And anything can be expensive .. unless you know people 8).

But to answer your question, my dad runs 40's and they are very nice forks. They do feel a little burly but thats not a bad thing. The adjustment on the forks (high & low speed compression, preload and rebound) allow the forks to be adjusted easily and be set to what ever preference the rider wants.
