The dark side lol, for me the dark side is marzocchi.
I still remember the days of the boxxer 151 (bulls forks) vs what mazocchi had to offer in the Mr T, Jr T, Super T and Monster T. None of which even came close. Fast forward to 02 and it was still the same, the 02 boxxer owned the super t, jr t and monster t. Then sram brought rs in 03 and fucked everything up. I brought the boxxer in 03 on the back of the 97-02 rep but it was a completely different, pretty poor in comparison fork. The hidden gem that year was the super t, although it looked like a jr it was pretty much and 888 in disguise but no one really realised this till the end of the season. The the 888 was introduced many including me were sceptical of marzocchi's ability to make a good tripple crown fork. This showed by the fact that not a great deal of 04s sold but it put the boxxer to shame for a couple of years. In 06 rs introduced motion control dampening which has put marzocci back on top in terms of a pure race bred fork but rs's rep has gone down the pan some what and it will take time before people switch back. The 888 and the boxxer are now very close infact and it's "horses for courses" it will be interesting to see who takes the crown in the next couple of years. Especially since spy shots of the 08 boxxer has 36mm stantions like the 888.
Got any full bike side views cubby?

1. The axle is great, no picnh bolts and its simple as !! Only a fool would be able to f**k one up !
2. Services should be as normally .. ie once a year or less dependin on riding etc and if they do, off to TF for a few bob.

I think you can, they are suppose to be the best race to date and when they are due a service tf can upgrade them to teams. Despite being the lowest in the range they have the motion control so you cant go wrong really.
