i know many of you will think that i shouldnt do this, but im thinking of selling my bike and getting a bmx, when i was riding street on saturday i just felt so big and cumbersome on my bike next to all of the BMXers.

and its a bit of a missin to 360 my bike, but on nicks sunday its well nice, with the money ill be able to get a well nice bmx, looking at a mankind, ill put a spec up tomorrow

Hey man, I guess you just gotta weigh up what you want the bike for. If you are into purely street, dirt & park these days then a bmx would probably be a better bet. However your current bike is more of an all rounder, it can do those three along with other more stuff found at places like chicksands. Plus you have the option of getting a spare set of sus forks to make it even more versitile.

Maybe if you got enough money you could have a bmx and a mtb that would be good. What's the spec on this Mankind?

all im riding at the moment is hodge, harrow and amersham and chesham, so i reckon a BMX would be better, i was gonna build the mankind up from scratch, but ive found this, is well nice, i would spend the leftover cash on profile upgrades and a fly brake

i realize that my bike is more versatile but i can alway get a static or dmr later on if i want to.

That bike looks well nice man, i think you'd be better off going for a complete unless you got enough budget to build one from scratch.

yea, thats what i think too, ill probs go for something like that fit, someone elses project because i dont really like any of the complete bikes out there that much

ill have maybe 250-300quid left over so enough to make it even nicer

lol, not the lightest bmx by far. Race bmxs...
But yeah it's damn light and as far as todays street/dirt bmxs go it's only beaten by the Fit S3 and the Macneil Bibi and that's trails only. At the time he brought it it probably was the lightest, i always wanted one but couldnt afford so got my complete. S&M make all Fit's frames so i expect the S3 is just an S2 using the principal that the LAF taught them. Bascially it's an awsome frame.

The spec is pretty good too, a number of parts are pretty much good as you can get.

Only two things i'm unsure of one being if a hombre would fit on CS mounts on a 25:9 rato?
Mabey ask for pics of it fitted or ask if if it would honestly fit.

The other being if it's worth a straight swap but if you like it i'd probs go for it after you've checked out my 1st query.

yea, the spec is pretty good, but i will upgrade some of it, like a shadow chain, fly brake etc

im seeling my bike for about 700-750 and hes asking 700 for his bike, so its ok i spose

i dont think im going down the 'bike ladder' to far, maybe only 1 step, and i can easiyl climb back up with say 200 quid spent on it

Yeah damn light, LAF stands for Light As F**k it's 4.8lbs and still strong!
The bibi and the s3 came out a year later so it was the lightest but still strong bike a couple of years ago.
They've only more recently been making SS models so i reckon it probably was the lightest when he got.
