Day 1 - Saturday 8 July
Steve, Ryan, Barrels and Olly arrived in Morzine. The bikes were built up and after a rather small lunch it was time to head straight up the mountain. Barrels, with a broken arm was filming as always and made his way towards various good spots. The others spent the afternoon on the Pleney track. Steve's Boxxer Teams unfortunatly exploded on the first run of the holiday meaning they had to be repaired and Ryan's gear cable kept breaking through its outer at the rear mech. Not the best of starts!

Day 2 - Sunday 9 July
After getting his forks back from the shop, Steve joined Ryan and Olly on The Les Gets 1 course. Annoyingly the seals on the Boxxers kept popping up and leaking oil meaning Steve had very few runs. Ryan's gears kept on breaking meaning very little riding was done. Except touch wood expert, Olly whose bike was working perfectly. Barrels went on a Kona Bike Park hunt as the old chairlift to the park was closed and the lift you had to use was about 3 times as long, but lead to the top of the Les Gets 2, World Cup course.

Day 3 - Monday 10 July
Steve took his Boxxers to the bike shop early to have the seals glued in to stop the forks from wretching up its internals. Ryan gaffer-taped his gear cable up at where it met the rear mech which stopped it from breaking, it just meant the gears weren't quite as reliable as they should be. Ryan, Olly and Steve went to Avoriaz to ride the French National course and on the way back got lost trying to go down the Super Morzine run spending most of the afternoon about 3 km to the left of the course nearly falling off a cliff! Barrels caught up on some much needed hang-over sleep!

Day 4 - Tuesday 11 July
Steve, Ryan and Olly went to Les Gets and rode the Gully Run, Les Gets 1 and 2. After consuming copius amounts of pizza, it was time to ride the real Super Morzine track. Steve's Boxxers were riding like rigids as they were spiking so much and slowly breaking every bone in his arms. After taking the chairlift up to the top of the Pleney run, Steve, Olly and Ryan did several runs while Barrels filmed at various locations. At the end of the day, Olly invented the face pad, consisting of a rather sweaty leg pad strapped around the face!

Day 5 - Wednesday 12 July
After not being able to ride, and being rather extremely cool, Barrels leant Steve his brand new 888's so he could ride in comfort as the Boxxers were ever so slightly fucked. Ryan's gears finally gave up, so using the good ol' bodge of the allen key through the rear mech, he was running single speed in gear 6. After heading over to the Les Gets 1 course and Barrels hovering above in the chairlift to film the guys as they went down, a rather un-invited storm turned up closing the chairlifts and putting us out of riding and filming for the day. Olly took his bike to the bike shop to have his brakes bled as they were lacking in oil.

Day 6 - Thursday 13 July
After drinking far too much the night before and just managing to crawl back to the challet in the early hours of the morning, Steve and Barrels were woken up by Olly and Ryan when they were meant to be at the Pleney run. Olly, Steve and Ryan rode the Pleney course in the morning then Les Gets 1 + 2 in the afternoon while Barrels slept off a large hangover. Annoyingly later in the afternoon the rain came back meaning it was time to watch Earthed 3 for a couple of hours. After deciding the rain had stopped everyone headed up Pleney for some filming. Unfortunatly at the first location it started to rain and the lift was closed as it was too late. Barrels had to hike down the mountain one handed while the others rode down. Later it was time to play some poker and lay off the drink untill Friday night!

Day 7 - Friday 14 July
Waking up early to get as much riding and filming done before its time to pack the bags, it was time to head over to Les Gets. Barrels filmed Steve, Ryan and Olly as they took three runs in the morning. After having the worlds most solid, but rather tasty burger, it was time to head over to Les Gets 2. The chairlift normaly closed to the Kona Bike Park was open today, yet only bikers were allowed, GRRR. So Barrels went home as the others finished the holiday riding Les Gets 2 and the Bike Park. It was time to pack the bags later in the day then off down the bar to get pissed once again!

Day 8 - Saturday 15 July
After trying to beat a very large hangover from the night before, Barrels and Steve spent the morning packing the car while Ryan and Olly were on the way to the airport. After such a short time, the holiday was over and we were heading back to grotty ol' England to ride small mole hills in comparison! Time to plan for Morzine 2007! 8)

Sounds like a cool trip, although it seems 1 week wasn't enough.
