Post Lighten my bike
 apparently 54lbs is tad heavy for Aston. Any thoughts on lightening? Things I'm willing to change are wheels and forks. Everything else can stay, i just want it sub 50's really.

lol i thought you were going for an all stength weight don't matter build due to the current choice of parts and i heard you were looking for double wide rims which are increadible rims but not for the weight weenies.

If you want to lighten it wheels and forks wise. Gotta be a choice between boxxer wcs, fox 40s, and white brothers grove races. Wheels wise hope pro 2s on mavic ex823s have the best strength/weight/price ratio, run them tubeless too. You could go lighter but depends how much dollar you got or how much you are willing to compromise on strength (which i wouldn't advise).

Yeah you should come down to the Hyde Heath drops, they are pretty sweet and this time of year is great for expanding them. Theres the Jah drop that we are yet to clear out. I expect there is more stuff yet to be found. If you did consider double wides they are amazing, the side walls are so thick and the rim is so wide that it is pretty much impossible to buckle it.

Nice man, best bodys to date I reckon. 8" lowers, slippery silver stantions, none of that maxle crap, can run ti springs. Greg mentioned you have 06 internals. If so you must have the ultimate boxxer fork.
